Overview Rajasthan Heritage Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

On your arrival at the Delhi International airport you will be greeted by our agent who would be in your service up till your stay in Delhi. From the airport you would be escorted to the hotel where you can relieve yourself from jet lag. If time allows you would be driven around the bustling markets to have a look into the lifestyle of the locals.

Day 2: In Delhi

This morning you will explore the heart of India beginning from Old Delhi visiting the largest mosque in India- Jama Masjid and the Red Fort which was the residence of rulers of Mughal dynasty. A walk through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk will expose you to various street delicacies, extremely popular in Delhi. Your sightseeing tour also will include places like Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb which till today carry the Mughal legacy.

Day 3. Drive to Agra

On arrival in the city you will be chauffeured to the hotel where the afternoon would be spent at leisure. Get the mesmerizing view of the wondrous monument- the Taj Mahal in the evening when the sun is about set and the entire monument glitters in red-orange hue. Late come back to the hotel for a cosy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4. In Agra

Begin your day with delicious breakfast at the hotel and later visit the highlights of the city. Agra have been, for several years, the capital of the mighty mughal dynasty and hence the entire city boasts of the mughal legacy and is dotted with numerous monuments like the Tomb of Itmad-ud-daula, Mehtab Bagh, imposing Agra Fort, Sikandara and many more. Our guide will acquaint you with the historical significance of the places you will visit.

Day 5. Drive to Jaipur (242 km)

This morning you will be driven to the vibrant Pink City. On the way you will visit the erstwhile Mughal capital Fatehpur Sikri which remained so till only 14 years and was later abandoned. Spectacular red sandstone buildings like the Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid, Sheikh Salim Chisty Dargah, etc are highlights of this town. On arrival in Jaipur you will be escorted to a heritage hotel to give you a taste of royalty in the royal land of Rajasthan.

Day 6. In Jaipur

Jaipur holds in its heart the royal legacy of the Rajputs rulers. In your full day sightseeing tour you will visit the formidable Amber Fort situated on a hilltop offering panoramic view of the entire city. This magnificent fort comprises of courtyards, balconies and palaces like Sheesh Mahal which provide an insight about the extravagant lifestyle of the Rajput rulers. The Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Albert Hall Museum are the other gems of the city which draws innumerable tourists. Stroll down the bustling streets of Jaipur stuffed with indigenous crafts, textiles and other items.

Day 7. Drive to Jodhpur (337 km)

Early morning you will be driven through the scenic Aravali Hills to reach Jodhpur where your stay will be arranged in a classy heritage hotel to provide you the royal feel. Followed by few hours of leisure you will proceed to explore the energetic market of the city exploring the local art and crafts, the tie and dye textiles, beautiful Kundan jewellery and much more which will surely leave your bags full.

Day 8. In Jodhpur

This day you will enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of the Blue city. Step back in time by visiting the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, fascinating Jaswant Thada, Mandore Gardens and the Ghantaghar. The fabled city is also popular for its authentic food, apart from the sightseeing attractions; so treat your tongues at some authentic Rajasthani restaurant with the same ambience and feel and get in the rustic mood.

Day 9. Drive to Udaipur (258 km)

Situated in the lap of Aravalis the picturesque Lake City of Udaipur is in the bucket list of every traveller. Upon arrival you will be dropped at a well known luxury hotel offering the scenic lake view. Later visit the exquisite City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola. The Place is largest in Rajasthan and is adorned with beautiful paintings, frescos and inlaid glass work which is quite amusing. The 17th century Jagdish temple, Saheliyo Ki Bari, Fatehsagar Lake and the Eklingji temple are few other places popular among tourists in Udaipur.

Day 10. Udaipur Departure

After a memorable journey in India you will be dropped at the Udaipur airport to board the flight back home this morning.
